In an effort to better identify the needs of and provide the best customer service to Hoosier motorists, INDOT recently contracted with a research firm to survey households around the state. Unfortunately during the process of administering the survey, a programming mistake was made and today several households received an automated phone call in the early morning hours. For that we are very sorry. Receiving a call at this time of morning is alarming and unacceptable. It was in no way our intent to disturb anyone at that time of day. Hoosier motorists are our most important customers and it is our goal to provide the best service to them. We extend our sincere apologies and we are working with the research firm to rectify the problem. It will not happen again. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
