In life we make choices—both good and bad. Although we have been - TopicsExpress

In life we make choices—both good and bad. Although we have been given this amazing gift—the power to make choices, we do not always use it to our benefit. Nevertheless, we have been given that power. Today, we can exercise the power to choose to stand on the promises of God, knowing a few things about God, or we can choose to cling to doubt, fear, our own sense of hopelessness, and let go of hope. Hope is a choice. By His power God keeps His promises. God is truth, and He cannot and will not break His promises (it is not in His nature to do so). God’s Word stands forever and is our greatest resource for hope and comfort. God’s Word never fails. It is hard to make good choices based on weak (insufficient, inadequate, erroneous) knowledge. If our knowledge of God is faulty, then our perception of Him is weak or faulty and our understanding is darkened. Search the scriptures. Study God’s Word and have your hope renewed and restored. Return to the faith you have in God’s Word. Build your hope on the truth of His promises. Salvation comes when we choose to trust in Christ, not our desires, goals, dreams, strengths, riches, status, efforts, careers, or successes.
