In light of recent world, regional, local physical, spiritual and personal life events, its easy to become depressed, angry, hateful, caught up in the hype and becoming lost. Its a hard pill to swallow dealing with evil, but its not going away on this earth. Whether it be personal adversity, crimes, murders, politics, its not going away. But God has given us guidance on how to deal with the evil of this place. The devil has taken it upon himself to wreck humanity and cause as much damage as he can. If you read the book of Job, you will get further insight about evil and the activities of the devil. He wants to prove that God is in the wrong and attempts to drag humanity into that belief and his way of doing it is through pain, loss, and deceit. It is very unfortunate that people who are unsuspecting get involved in these horrible activities of the enemy. When evil happens, many people get drawn into it one way or the other. I find that the best attitude for me is to: • be sensitive at all times to how I handle incidents involving evil occurrence. • empathize with those involved in every way possible. • Do all I can to help, not come up with wrong conclusions and judgment. • Pray for those directly affected In dealing with evil, I continue to pray at all times. Jesus taught his followers to pray; as we can read in the following scriptures: (Luke 11:2-4) “So He said to them, “When you pray, say: “Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory, forever and ever” Amen
