In line in a rural Walmart. Man behind me , older country feller..starts shooting the breeze. Somehow the convo reveals that in school kids are not referred to as boys or girls any longer, but rather as humans. He says , Cuz you cant tell which is which anymore. heh. I said, oh how I sympathize with those children who do happen to be born with both genders, must be a really hard world to live in as a child. He then says Well I am a minister at a local church...and the kinds of things I have to teach on...the world just aint right. I did have a chance to reply , as a Christian I dont really feel that it is my job to teach people what is a sin and what is not a sin, or to fault any of Gods creation. I can only hope and pray that other fellow citizen humans including Christians learn to love one another, and all Gods children, as Jesus has loved us, and continues to love us, even though we err in judgment of his creation, and teach our children how and what to hate. I just hope all children have the chance to know Gods love and acceptance. I shook his hand, and he smiled and I think maybe...just maybe.... he might have some food for thought today. Maybe I will go to Walmart more often.
