In looking at my iPOD after doing weddings for 20+ years, I realize that having THE MOST amazing library of music is a result of getting involved with 1,000s of people on their big day. While I may not have enjoyed all of the music, its like food - having tried all this music and having it on my iPOD has (in addition to making me half deaf, LOL) has made me appreciate music in a profound way I never would have without everyone elses input!
