In need of help to save Ivy : Ivy is a 8 month old French bulldog that has been taken by his owner to a clinic to be euthanize. It appeared that she was having some symptoms of the parvovirus and that the owner didn’t have the money to perform the test to confirm it nor to start any kind of treatments. The clinic then contacted us so that we could take her under our responsibility and after confirming the diagnosis, we started to treat her. She has been hospitalized for quite a few days now and she was starting to feel better up until the day before yesterday where she started to get worse to the point where she needed a blood transfusion. Since Ivy started to feel worse , we had to accept a more aggressive treatment but sadly that made the estimate more expensive than expected. The cost of the transfusion itself was a little bit more than 500$. Many of you seemed to be interested to be her foster family or adoptive family, we wish that there will be as many of you that would help us to get all the treatment that she needs. The transfusion really helped her to the point where she was actually able to eat a little bit today and to walk a little bit as well. The bill for Ivy as of 2014/07/29 was around 1,200.00$ Ivy is still hospitalized and we hope that she will remain stable. 1$ could seem to be a small amount of money for you but if a lot of people can give that amount, it will eventually become 100$ ! Ivy needs your help! She has a strong will to live but sadly the treatment that help her is quite expensive.
