In one of my facebook albums I posted images of the sort of doodles I have been known to do on a sheet of quad paper during excruciatingly boring meetings (I have a folder FULL of those sorts of things). They are perhaps indicative of my brain paths, but they would seem to have the possibility of being tiles (I call them seatiles, since my initials are SEA) patterned together. I had tried taking one of the hand-drawn ones and perfecting it in Adobe Illustrator as a vector line drawing. Im not sure which I prefer (probably each, depending on the particular circumstances it might be used in). In any case, here are a side-by-side comparison of the perfected one with the original hand-drawn one, and also a side-by-side comparison of the same two as a tiled surface. Any thoughts about which is better -- perfected, or hand-drawn?
