In sweet memory of Pinkus, an adorable gray and white cat rescued by her dad when she was about a year old. She spent the next 15 years so happily with him, and was an incredibly loved and cared-for girl. Pinkus had an amazingly soft coat; in fact, she felt much like a rabbit, with her downy soft fur. This was one reason she made a wonderful snuggly pillow, particularly in the colder months. Pinkus was well-spoiled (as she should have been!), and many places throughout her home were specifically set up around her needs. Her dad even gave up the prime drawer and shelf right in the middle of his closet so that Pinkus could curl cozily in here on a towel when she pleased. Pinkus developed a tumor in her abdomen that grew incredibly quickly, and her dad knew it was best to help her say goodbye. Pinkus was able to have a delicious snack of her favorite wet cat food, then climb cozily into her spot on the drawer. Her dad was right by her side to pet her lovingly and tell her what a great family member she had been as she passed away so peacefully.
