In the calmness and reflection of evening I feel frustration over the events in Idaho where science is thrown under the bus and the wolves we have all worked so hard to restore were mowed down from helicopters. I look for light in all of this and then I see at the end of a long list of signatures from the Theodore Roosevelt blog post the words: Estella B. Leopold. I gain inspiration from this and realize that if Aldo Leopolds last remaining child has taken time to read the Teddy blog and sign the petition that the rest of us will just have to dust ourselves off and work harder for science and the wolf.
