In the days before digital I spent many delightful hours in a darkroom, printing photographs--the room lit by a dim red bulb, the atmosphere saturated with the inspiring aromatic mixture of Dektol, acetic acid, and thiosulfates. To pass the many minutes of just plain waiting, I’d dance; a couple of my favorite darkroom tunes were Grateful Dead versions of a much-updated Scottish folk song, “Peggy-O,” and Dylan’s “Queen Jane.” youtu.be/cPJOmkDOFcQ
