Lost jobs and expertise in renewables, that will put the UK further behind the rest of the world when the inevitability of alternative energy supply finally catches up with us. Further dependence on foreign companies for our energy needs, prices and certainty of supply. More and more atomic waste, plus atomic sites and fuel to keep safe. While we further risk not meeting internationally agreed treaties on the need to cut carbon emissions and risk the fines associated. So in conclusion, a buttock clenchingly disastrous move of shameful proportions!
