In this little colonial mind of mine, if we listen closely, we can - TopicsExpress

In this little colonial mind of mine, if we listen closely, we can hear everything, we were taught will come back to us with greater appreciation but we need to want it without pressure. We live daily not remembering our ancestrial spirits, for they are amongst us. I think about, what it was like for them living in harsh lands, cold winters and hunt to eat on daily bases. Today, our little problems, are our big problems, the love of material goods. We are not only choosing something that we can not be bury with or be happy with for long for it is disposable. Our Indigenous cultural should not be treated in the same way. Our time is different so is our needs. Not in my wildest dreams have I ever thought my own people, Tlicho would choose mining over our cultural, lands, water and traditional food supply. Not so long ago, I post my observation and some may have viewed as personal vendetta. To clarify it, it is, very personal when someone messes with my/our Tlicho cultural. I have stated that there is a core group of well organized Tlichos, who are educated that are steering and changing my cultural that is so subtle that my own people do not know, it is happening to us. It is like this disease, cult and I mean to use this word so it can be out brought out to surface for furthering examination, discussion and debate amongst ourselves. It is done legally that is very disturbing. These busy ants are like mountain of poisonous snakes working downwards on us and are making and changing us to become like per-condition to their way that they want us to live legally. I do not like the fact, it is destroying us and dividing families. Everything, we, as Tlicho have stood for it the past, has been discarded like garbage disposable. There is no resistance to mining nor this subtle legalized cult. So my Tlicho need to wake up! Those who can read so should share as much information with our elders and not rely only on what informations that is fed to us. Do your own homework and research as, much as you can. Today, we are fortunate to have quick assess by Internet. Just dont not give away our quick easy assess to our lands to mining without questioning, debating and certainly not without an unbiased study on environmental damages done to our lands and water. Just dont let them, eat us alive!
