CREEC salutes Killmer, Lane & Newman, LLP for their tireless efforts to bring accountability for the families of Marvin Booker and Emily Rice, featured in the song. Wed also like to take a moment to remember Shawn Vigil, a Deaf pretrial detainee who hung himself in the Denver County Jail after a month in solitary with no sign language interpreter.
