India and Bangladesh will hold their 3 day annual railway talks in Dhaka to undertake a complete review of railway cooperation between the 2 countries from tomorrow. The delegations would discuss freight train operations and the feasibility of introducing container train services between India and Bangladesh. Currently ‘Maitree Express’ is operating between Dhaka and Kolkata. Re-opening of Birol-Radhikapur, Chilahati-Haldibari and new connectivity between Akhaura - Agartala will be discussed.
