India is a world leaders in POOR and will keep this TROPHY forever. “ The state of the Nation describes the type of Ruler ” - Hypocrisy, thy name is India. __________________________________________________________________ PART - II _________ India fares really poor in all aspects of Social and Human development indexes. In some areas, India is even worse than many sub-Saharan countries. Internal Food Policy Research Institution (IFPRI) and two International Charities Welthungerhilfe and Concern worldwide exposed that one quarter world hungry masses live in India. These Agencies put India in category in Ethiopia, Sudan, Congo, Chad, Niger and other African nations so what is wrong with this Anointing. Only difference is that India today reservoir of food-grain and not having begging bowl in its hands. India takes so much pride in its achievements. Well, failed in one of the most desirable achievement - Poverty. Have seen how much food is wasted by the Rich over weddings / parties, and in general. It is a shame how another human is treated. Some people are so money hungry, that they would go to any length to get more than their share, and then there are some who do not know where their next meal is going to come from. You can waste food grains in Railway Station but cannot distribute to hungry......You can waste foods in Marriage/ Functions but cannot distribute to hungry........you can burn Crops if you dont get good selling price but cannot distribute to hungry.... Society priorities have changed. The ELITE don’t bother about HUNGER and POVERTY. Most would waste their resources on senseless diversions. They spend fortune on Plastic pieces and STUPID entertainment gadgets. Pocket money of affluent families School going Children is more than the cost of monthly meals of poor family. Parties that are thrown on every STUPID reason and waste in those Parties is sufficient to keep few hundred poor families away from hunger. All in all, we have shed our conscience and are opaque to hunger of the poor. Government and its corrupted machinery thrives on the poor. We all scratch our heads about Terrorism and Naxalism with out looking into core issues. Deliberately decaying the Precious Food grains like wheat and then diverting it to Distilleries with huge commission for Wine preparation. Thousands of tones Wheat getting rotten, Government of the day not making proper arrangements for their storage because they have tie ups with the BEER Company who buy the rotten wheat at negligible rates and give huge bribe to govt. The Government makes big schemes for the Poor so that they can loot the money through scams..how pathetic Mid-day scheme has become. Food Corporation of India (FCI) has to improve the food supply chain management and distribution in places. The best practice is to FINE those who fail to do so or suspend/ dismiss them which is showing such ignorance in cases or failing to improve. Governments wrong policy has created Jobs only as/for IT Coolies, Clerks, Call Centers, Back-office ( Funny, don’t know what they do in the back of Office ), Shopping Malls, Courier Delivery, and Real Estate brokers where people are buying and selling each others lands, flats and thus has increased rate beyond capacity of honest people. Our visionary Politicians are distributing FREE Color TVs, Laptops, Mixer, Grinder, Fan and even GOAT to people. Foreign Direct Investment ( FDI) also include Wallmarts, McDonalds, KFC, Subway, Pizza huts etc. etc. Indian talent were forced to work for these Companies making a big dent to Manufacturing industry and Agriculture. These urban folks stopped eating their staple food and following foreign style of food like noodles, burgers and what not. The urban folks totally ignored their traditional style of living and habituated for using perfumes, creams, shampoos and sprays. This take home packs of all these elite class in urban areas do not know that the entire expenditure on the their foreign style of living is going back to other countries by imports costing the country heavily. Our export bills coming down, purchasing imported gold, Platinum by gullible public increasing the deficit and lead to devaluation of the currency. We are exporting our resources at cheap rate and importing unnecessary out dated technology and products in to the country at the cost of poor citizens and their hunger. Unless we do not change our present style of living and return to our traditional ways, we cannot correct the situation. People in this country will fight on streets for food, water, shelter one day. Question is how long we will sustain? Its like we are all waiting for dooms day to happen. Instead of thinking about our future, we are still blinded by religious disbelief & hate each other. We must confess that the countrys leaders are taking the country towards total ruin, and the day is not far off when Naxalites shall be on the streets of big streets demanding there share of the food. The country should immediately ban of importing and usage of Foreign hard/ soft drinks, noodles, chips, CHOCK-let, foreign cars, sports bikes and BAN this USELESS Cricket for better living. India need to become an export oriented country also like China... right now we import more than we export so we have to change this ratio to become a rich country.. we have to utilize our resources in much much more efficient way like china is doing... we have to open more industries here and provide skills to unemployed youth by giving them 6 months to 1 year training program in a particular field. The ruling Political class engaged in divisive politics with no inclusive growth is entirely responsible for this state of affairs. The ruling class had no vision for the country as a whole, had no agenda for the transformation of the country after long years of Islamic and then British rule, had only one agenda of being in power at any cost. It is time that we bring about a fundamental shift in this political culture, put the Country & her People as priority one, set a vision for the whole country, desist from divisive politics for short term political & economic gains, set a time bound programme with a clear sense of prioritization for the organic development of the entire country right from nutritional security to political & social security of her people and go about with the missionary zeal to translate that vision into ground realities with a complete sense of integrity, discipline & commitment. This is the least we deserve as Citizens of this Nation.
