Indian women’s hockey team deserved all praise as all the players played as a well-knit team and finished on the podium of junior World Cup for the first time with the thrilling victory against England in the bronze medal play off played at Monchengladbach, Germany. The Indian girls have not only brought glory to the nation through their outstanding performance but also inspire our budding players to further excel for such championships. This victory also raises the hope that it would prove to rejuvenate Indian hockey and bring back the lost glory back in this traditional game.
