Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raajioun. Sad day indeed for the friends and family of our beloved brother, Qahir Juneja. Tragically passed away this afternoon after a car accident in Kimbiji, Kigamboni on the way back to the city. He is survived by his mother, brother, wife and young son. Such a heavy reminder for all of us still breathing, still alive, still able to seek repentance and mercy, to serve, to warn. He was a dedicated soldier, worked his way up to success and turned his life around. He had a lot going for him mashallah but the day of his call was soon. I remember his defiant neatness at school, persistently wearing a squarely ironed shirt, tommy hilfiger socks (against school rules).. he loved to dress smart since back then. We were never that close but that has never stopped me from appreciating or loving people. I know he will be deeply missed, and the thought of his only son asking his mommy where is papa? right now just breaks my heart. Our Lord, all good and bad comes from you. Give us patience in times where we do not understand your actions and your plan. Give his loved ones comfort and happiness in your guidance and mercy. Forgive our brother of his wrongdoing, intentional and unintentional, grave and petty, relieve him of the heaviest burdens as he returns to you, in your infinite mercy, oh Allah. From You we all come, unto You we shall all inevitably return, the Ever Lasting, All encompassing.
