Inspiration Ever hear the saying, When life hands you lemons, make lemonade? Well, thats just what Deborah Jo Kummer did this summer. Early in the year it became clear that surgery would be the only option for some ongoing challenges in her neck. She knew riding would not be an option for quite awhile and she began to focus on ground driving. Her plan was to stay active with her partner, Whisper, during the rehab phase after the surgery and felt ground driving would keep both of them moving. Whisper has had his own share of physical difficulties and is currently being treated for chronic Lyme disease and it is important for him to keep moving as well. Today they had their first walk in the woods with the cordeo and no bridle. Prior to heading out, Deb and Whisper tried their hands and hooves with some obstacles in our confidence building arena.
