Integration of new kitty Topaz is going well, I think, and I am cautiously optimistic. Here are todays stats so far: Topaz 1; Black Bean 0 (Black Bean is the sassy alpha so this is a good sign) Pumpkin 1; Topaz 0 (Pumpkin is my 18-year old deaf kitty with kidney disease. Topaz checked her out and gave her a little sniff…Pumpkin just gave her the look and Topaz moved on. I love how Pumpkin continues to rule the roost even in her feeble state. Theres a lesson in there.) Cookie (fluffy Maine Coon mix) is not mentioned here because shes been having the cat nap of the century under the bed on the porch and is oblivious to everything :-) And I am not getting any work done because I am busy wrangling cats. New job title?
