He has more than 18 years of experience across various industries ranging from working in merchant naval ships to IT & ITES with tech majors and banking captives in Investment Banking domain. In the past he has worked both in IT & Operations division of banks. He has worked with Macquarie, Citibank, Deutsche and Societe Generale as clients and directly as well. He has worked for 3 years in London where he was managing the Market Risk - VAR projects for Deutsche Bank. He has handled large change projects and spent a year in IB Operations. He was instrumental in implementing the Surveillance system to monitor cash and derivatives markets across NSE & BSE, both in cash & derivatives for SEBI at Mumbai. Currently he is designated as Vice President and heading the MWS-Client Engineering Division at Standard Chartered,Scope International, Chennai. He is a certified FRM and completed his certification with all grades in top 25 percentile. He is pursuing CFA-US and completed Level-1. Also certified by SI Institute London in Derivatives. In his previous stint with Societe Generale, he has conceptualized and delivered one day program called PATHSHALA for the entire IT organization comprising of 1000 resources over a period of six months. This program used to cover basics of Investment Banking and introduction to the banks business model. He has also conducted trainings on Derivatives, Fixed income and other IB related topics. He was felicitated by the CEO for the same.
