Interesting conversation with a friend which brings forward clarity. So here you go, the negative side of Facebook. As many of you know, I work hard to raise awareness for an Association close to my heart, I work hard for a variety of Military Associations, and my aim is to be able to give good quality, sometimes quirky memorabilia/gifts at minimum cost. I invest a lot of time effort and money trying to make that aim a reality and for the majority of the time it works, and for the majority of people it makes a difference. Then there is the minority (who can quite frankly shove their personal opinion up their backside for all I care) - the minority who have their own small minded agenda, who have been restricted by their own limitations, and lack of imagination, self motivation and drive. The minority who dont want anyone else to do something that they cant do. This minority (who many of you on my friends lists know and associate with) will do anything and everything to try and undermine and disrespect me. They are not brave enough to do it openly, they hide behind their keyboard, and write poison PMs to people, warning them away from me, dissing my Munchkins Memorabilia, slating my efforts to raise awareness for the Association and belittling all I try and do within the Facebook Group I founded and run. That same group they were removed from because their behaviour was not in keeping with the Corps ethos. Let me say this one more time: Judge me on MY actions, on My efforts and on your personal interaction with me, not on the low opinion of those who have proven they are nothing but snide cowardly individuals with very little to offer other than a gossip fest. They should take a look a themselves before they slate anyone else. I will not tolerate yet another hate campaign. That is all....... Except thank you to those who decided to let me know what was rearing its ugly head in the background again.
