Islam Times - Saudi Arabia is considered the biggest financier to what Saudi citizens call “Jihadi Operations” in Iraq. Reports suggest that the Saudi government is sending two million Saudi Riyals per day to support the war effort sabotage in Iraq. Millions of Saudi Riyals are being collected weekly in the campaigns of private donations, including senior Saudi traders in both Riyadh and Madinah and Makkah, Jeddah, Qassim, Dammam, to support what they call jihad against the infidels in Iraq, middle class Saudi merchants think money paid in those campaigns go to people who deserve it. Up to five percent of monthly salaries of Saudi workers are also being collected under the title The support of Jihad”. The money rose by Salafi elders from the citizens’ Zakat, are collected in banking institutions then washed and send to Al-Qaeda terrorist leaders through mediators.
