Issued at 5 pm on FRIDAY 18th Jully. Thought Id create yet another Storm Related thread and delete the old one. This is to cover the POSSIBLE thunder event across Kent for the early hours of tonight. Will it just merely pass by harmlessly to the west of Kent or are we going to strike it lucky? As so to speak. Even though Ive been leaning towards the former option, there really is only one way to find out as we go deeper into the night. Then there is another round of potentially (note the emphasis on that word) thundery-type weather on Saturday afternoon/early evening, but this time more to the east of our county. Again, will that be a Daily Express-type humdinger or itll just merely be a wet squib with overcast skies and a spell of rain? Again, only one way to find out. Then our weather should slowly start to be less thundery as we go into Sunday (rather cloudy with some showery rain). I think thats all I can say on this for now so I wont be answering any more are we going to have any more thunder? or where is the thunder? questions. Like I said, from here on, theres only one way to find out.
