It happened! I did my first Rap-A-laide Hip Hop set at a festival! My close friend and rap mentor James Deans asked if I wanted to be a pART of rad Hip Hop group, Atlantis Rising and I said YES. That was 2 days before the festival. Then I spent those 2 nights getting totally nervous and anxious! ha! But I did it and it went great and can only get better from here! By using my voice, not only am I able to share my thoughts and inner wisdom, but I am faced with the challenge of working with my breath, both in prepping for a show (calming my nerves) and during a show ( keeping my voice steady thru out a set). What a practice, what a challenge, what a joy! Will share a short video clip soon:)
