It is a Mercy from Allaah that He did not ask us to pray all day. Neither fast all year. In a day full of responsibilities and works (though done for the sake of Allaah), 5 intervals to get detached from the world completely to stand only in front of Allaah for an uninterrupted conversation, really makes one value, enjoy and yearn it. There is something so special about the timings of the daily salah - boost throughout the day
