It is hard to believe it has been four years ago today, that I packed up stuff and shut the door of my Deputy Chiefs office for the last time. I loved my Law Enforcement career and it was really hard and scary to walk away. All and all it was the right decision for my business and my family. I still miss it at times, I was blessed to work on a good department, in a good town, with good people. I remember mostly the good stuff, the little BS stuff fades away and when your away from it you see how trivial a lot of it was. And yes I am thankful for Schererville PD, for the job I was given, experiences and friends that all helped led me to where I am today.
