It is important to have at least one place in your life where you never feel like you are on the outside, where you always feel like you belong. That place for me was when my grandma Hester was around. Yesterday, at 98, she left the earth to begin her beautiful eternity with Jesus. Today as I process my time with Grandma, I am overwhelmed with the fact that I truly cannot think of a single instance of sternness from her, only love. She wrote me letters, sweet hand written letters, to stay connected when I was wayward and also when I was entering my role as a momma….she loved all of us grandkids so much that she took the time for those types of moments for each of us….even though there are many, many of us…she is example that there can be enough love to go around….that gives me profound hope….and inspiration. I am so glad that you now get to walk with the Jesus that you so elegantly showed us all on earth Grandma.
