It is sad that English is no longer the official language of the United States. During a phone interview with "Home Depot" I was informed that one of the requirements for the job was that I must speak SPANISH. They also sent an email message that had the following information in it: The Home Depot Retail Staffing Center would like to talk to you about your application for employment. You may receive a call from our automated calling service to ask you a few questions. We will be calling the phone number you provided on your application, so be sure to keep your application updated if your phone number changes. If you would like to call The Home Depot Retail Staffing Center to answer a few questions, please call 1 (866) 698-4347. When you call, select option 1 for English, then select option 1 for the Retail Staffing Center. Why do they say “Select 1 for English, but during the job interview, they say that you MUST SPEAK SPANISH.”?
