It is time for a leadership change at the VA. It is outrageous that any veteran dies on a secret wait list forced to go months without necessary care. It is entirely unacceptable that hundreds of thousands of disability claims of veterans are not processed, because the VA hasnt updated their systems with 21st century technology. As someone who has led the fight in New York to assist our veterans who have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), I see an urgent need for improved mental health support as well. That is why Im calling for the resignation of VA Director Eric Shinseki.
