It is with deep sadness that Local F-147 NWS Earle Fire & Emergency Services announces the passing of Firefighter Michael J Farber at age 47 after a brief and sudden battle with liver cancer. Mike passed away today November 12,2014 at 0730, surround by his family. Mike served as firefighter for 26 years as both a Firefighter and Fire Inspector at NWS Earle. At the familys request there will be no public viewing or formal repast. The funeral will take place on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Gleason Funeral Home which is located at 1360 Hamilton Street in Somerset NJ. The burial will take place at the Van Liew Cemetery which is located at 585 Georges Rd in North Brunswick NJ. All Fire personnel all asked to be in class A attire. All personnel and apparatus are asked to be at Gleason Funeral home by 10:40 a.m.. An informal repast will follow the services at a location to be determined.
