It is with sadness this morning that we learn of the Promotion to Glory of Lt. Col. Ray Steadman-Allen (OF) and we give thanks for his significant contribution to Salvation Army music making. RSA was an extremely talented composer, writing over 400 publications for The Salvation Army and a real gentle man who will be missed, but we know that Ray is now with his Lord whom he served throughout his life. RSA - Thank you, and God bless you. He giveth more grace as our burdens grow greater, He sendeth more strength as our labors increase; To added afflictions He addeth His mercy, To multiplied trials He multiplies peace.
