It just occurred to me that the name of this group “The Very Boring Group” may be a classic example of tautology, since the use of ‘Very’ seems redundant when one considers that something or someone (in this instance a group) is either boring or not. In much the same way as being dead! One is either dead or alive and is generally not varying degrees of either, since the concept of being a little dead, moderately dead or very dead seems implausible...one is just simply dead...or alive! And so too this group is boring rather than a bit boring, moderately boring or even very boring. Thus, therefore and hitherto “The Boring Group” rather than “The Very Boring Group”.
