It may have felt like end of the world , but it could have been actually the new beginning. I am a proud Leytena! For whatever reason, God saved me for that tremendous experience. Moreover I look up to my loved ones, friends , relatives and fellow Leytenos who have bounced back after that tragedy. Their strength , faith, courage and perseverance is blowing me away. It is just amazingly impressive. After all that they have been through, they are the brave people they are, and I couldnt be more appreciative of them. Looking back, I was supposed to be home in a couple more of days last Nov 2013 when it happened. I wasnt there but It was a torture, emotionally and mentally. It was sickening, not being able to hear and feel ur loved ones at that very moment. But once again, as we look back, its something that surely remarks in each one of us, not just to those who have been directly affected, but everyone in this world who are humane. Once again, as i have witnessed the recovering, maybe slow but still, of our beautiful town I deeply thank those that have whole heartedly helped and is helping. The gratitude will forever remain in the hearts of all Tanauanons, Leytenos and Filipinos! Maraming Salamat po! Aizy M Borrel
