“It takes MONEY to do MINISTRY,” is the DECEPTIVE cry of the PROSPERITY DOCTRINE of WEALTH and MATERIALISM Preacher and Believer, because they want you to BELIEVE that unless you have MONEY – and usually LOTS of it – you cannot get the TASK done for Jesus that He COMMANDED us to DO. Funny how these FALSE PREACHERS and FALSEHOOD BELIEVERS never quite tell you HOW MUCH money it takes to DO ministry – just that it takes MONEY. What they’re REALLY SAYING is that the LACK of having MONEY (whatever amount their imagination feel they need) is the REASON/EXCUSE why they aren’t WITNESSING and EVANGELIZING with the Gospel to SINNERS for their SOUL SALVATION. I wonder, however, how does the ACQUISITION of BENTLEYS, BMWs, JAGUARS, and MERCEDES BENZs fit into DOING MINISTRY when they do get some MONEY? When they PURCHASE LUXURIOUS PROPERTIES and EXQUISITE JEWELRY for themselves - how many PEOPLE were SAVED because of it? The MYTH is that MINISTRY takes MONEY. The REALITY is that MINISTRY takes COMMITTED, DEDICATED, and FAITHFUL to Jesus “DISCIPLES” to DO MINISTRY. Because with all the MONEY being COLLECTED and held by the AMERICAN CHURCHES and MINISTRIES – no MAJOR IMPACT is being SEEN or FELT by the LOST to COMPEL them into the Kingdom of God! Neither the Body of Christ, nor the Kingdom of God has greatly BENEFITED the LOST – or even the BELIEVER, for that matter - because of having WEALTH. So let us STOP fabricating LIES about how it takes MONEY to DO MINISTRY when Jesus Himself COMMANDED us to just “GO”!!!
