It was done with the best of intentions. Believing feminist - TopicsExpress

It was done with the best of intentions. Believing feminist rhetoric about mass rape culture and it running wild on college campuses, a Rolling Stone writer was confused. If so many women were being attacked, how come she couldnt find them? So she just made up a story about a gang rape done by a fraternity- after all, it fit the rhetoric. And it must be happening somewhere, right? The college banned the frat, kicked students out. The police were brought in. It was all a hoax. The worse part is that it came out during the Cosby revelations, reminding people there are really accusations falsely made in these cases, setting back anything good that could have happened as a result of those accusations. The frat has been asked back, students kicked out have been told they can return. But frankly, they should sue Rolling Stone and the college into oblivion. The pity is the feminists who have created the myth of rape culture, cant be included in the suit. townhall/tipsheet/mattvespa/2015/01/12/uva-reinstates-fraternity-at-the-heart-of-rolling-stones-gang-rape-fiasco-n1941979
