It was early Saturday morning(10/19/13. A Flea market day so early to rise 4 am. Jerry out walking the dog and he realized the screen on the window to our stoage shed was wrong. He went into the shed and realized we were burglarized. Fortunately, they were only able to get to one shelf through the window. But they took our personal tools. They took 4 Stihl chainsaws and one Stihl T-handled Weedeater. Approx. a $3000.00 loss. I called the Buncombe Sheriff Department. Ordinarily, I have nothing good to say about them, but that morning I was impressed. We had three cars arrive within ten minutes. They took fingerprints. They searched the area and found some golf clubs under a tree that were not ours. They conficated them for evidence. It was listed as a felony so an officer was assigned to our case. We dont have them back to date but we have our suspicions. Someone that morning(at the flea market) told me that the is a special place in hell for a thief. We worked hard and long to obtain these items just for someone to come along to steal and sell for drug money. HOW I HATE A THIEF!!!
