It was the ancient Greeks who set the stage for defining the problem and solving the issue of class deformed civil societies. Their intellectuals, including Plato defined their class deformed civil societies with new social terminologies like oligarchy, plutocracy, aristocratic terms, including generic terms, like (class) tyrants who often rose up from the ranks of popular, social classes, who betrayed social values to become class thugs themselves. At the same time ancient Greek social intellectuals like Plato were looking for anti dotes, solutions to class tyranny, promoting social utopias, like his REPUBLIC, with concepts of democracy emerging to fight the class power of a then entrenched Patriarchal class system which had usurped the social power of Matriarchal kinships, and earlier traditions. That social failure, and thus the dominance of class deformed culture made Plato aware that an underlying social reality existed which was hidden from consciousness THROUGH class deformed myths/realities, thus his proposed solution and ideological paradigm, the CAVE and shadows, which represented class deformed outcomes that prevented social reality, social consciousness, that existed outside the cave. It was this INVERTED class deformed ideological paradigm, HIS SHADOWS, that offered a solution to a return to Democracy, a social republic, the reconstruction of social power, that once existed, before the first class system, Patriarchy had betrayed humanity for class power.
