Item number one. NEVER PRAY FOR PATIENCE:). Item number two-my right front tire has mysteriously been going flat. I took it to Brians Tire Factory, whom I recommend because they have always been fair and honest with me, and they ran all of the tire tests and told me there was nothing wrong with it. It was flat again yesterday, and my husband has, with his razor-sharp detective skills, deduced that someone is letting the air out of my tire in the middle of the night:). Although I would love to think that someone CARES enough to be my saboteur(pretty sure that is a word), I dont think I am important enough to merit tire espionage. However, if you are the mystery tire de-flater, please let me know what has enraged you enough to commit such a treacherous act. And while you are at it, let me know why the other three tires remain mysteriously intact......Item number three-I have a hard time trusting church people. My own personal level of hypocrisy is so ridiculously high, so many times I just assume the church people are faking devotion to the cause, using the church jargon to SOUND celestial, or are motivated by fear, blah blah blah......well, in large part due to the words of Sandy Landons husband(hows that for knowing the names of your own bishopric:), I got this wonderful feeling today that EVERYONE is just doing the best with what they have been given. We are all just muddling through this earthly existence, occasionally glimpsing shafts of light in a dark world and trying to balance the eternal equation of duty and obedience with a sincere desire to do the right thing for the simple fact that we love the Creator who put us here for this mortal trek. We are ALL just trying to conquer the natural man tendencies to blame, to judge, and to settle for mediocrity. Having said that-item number four. If there is camping in heaven, it had better be RV camping or I am not going. Why spend all that time and effort to dwell in a tent? My idea of roughing it is a pop-up in the middle of a room at the Best Western. Adieu.
