Its 3:30am & I cant sleep. I have an appointment with Jared at 8:30am in Orlando tomorrow and my mind wont shut off! I miss the days that I didnt have a single worry to worry about. Lol I know Im supposed to lay my burdens down on the cross but its not easy to do at times. Its hard to see how everything you have worked so hard for and have accomplished in your life is threatened because of a senseless, evil disease. Cancer is a beast that has no mercy...cancer doesnt care of age, gender, race, economic status or if it tears a family apart. Unless you have gone through it yourself, it is impossible to comprehend the devastation that a cancer diagnosis brings to a family. I was sooo clueless, always new cancer was bad but really had no idea. I just thank God that I have him in my life to get me through this. Hes who gives me the strength to press on. I just couldnt be able to handle everything my family is going through on my own. God is not Dead a dead God wouldnt be able to comfort, strengthen, & sustain you. I see him in Jared everyday! Cancer be aware: you are NOT tearing my family apart & you sure are NOT going to have my son, he belongs to Jesus. You may be taking our possessions & making life really impossible but even then, you wont win! In the impossible is where we see miracles happen. We are holding on to Gods promises & he always comes through! I know he will never leave us nor forsake us. We will still smile & enjoy each day we are given thanking God for his many Blessings. Getting pretty sleepy now...somebody must have needed to hear this. Lol Gira ♡♡♡
