Its a go. My coauthor and I met for several hours yesterday and agreed on all key issues. We are going to write a book, whose working title is Pinpoint Marketing. The book will be about how contextual marketing can build trust and efficiency between buyers and sellers. The primary readership targets are professional marketers, communicators and advertisers. My partner on this project is extremely well known. So is the Foreword writer. We need a few more days for a few conversations to be held in private before we can announce this new team. As of today I am looking for: --technologies that allow marketers to understand customers so well that they can predict what those customers want even before the customer actually enters the store. --companies that provide filters and controls that will let people correct mistakes in their personal data, that will allow them to filter out messages they do no wish to see, and allow people to block their personal data when they wish. --Thought leaders and analysts who have something deep and meaningful to say, preferably with stories to tell. --Organizations that are using--or planning to--use contextual technologies to get closer with customers while reducing overall marketing noise.
