Its been a little while since I shared a flower photo, so now Im sharing two. These were taken this week at the Nelumbo Pond in the botanic gardens, which is full of beautiful big Sacred Lotus flowers at the moment. Shortly after I took these, my son ended up falling into the pond, knee deep into the mud, and it was only my quick reflexes grabbing his arm and pulling him out (while still holding my camera), that stopped him from falling in further, and face first.
