Its been a long day for us. We started at four am to go to Geneseo for dialysis for four hours and they have actually cut us down to three hours and fifteen minutes.. (hooray). Then we went to infusion for a three hour infusion starting at 10:30 at Strong which took a bit longer because Jers breathing was so labored. We just made our 1:30 Oncologist appointment where we got the go ahead for another 21 day round of chemo even though his cancer cells have continued to increase. (Hooray). Next we had to go back to infusion to begin the new round of chemo and after that to chest xray because of the breathing and now it is after 6 and we are just getting home. (Hooray Last night Jay and Caleb sat with Jer while he was having trouble breathing. That takes his mind off of it and calms him down it seems. But during this day we left the house and Renee had spent the night with us...At infusion, Camden and Leslie spent a good share of it with us bringing me flowers and Papa cookies for his midnight snacks and a great big DiBellas sub for his lunch during infusion. They even stayed to ride on Papas lap on the wheelchair up the elevator. Next we got a great hello pic from four people in SC who just wanted to say that they love us. Then Robin stopped us on the road home to see if she could get us dinner. Then we got home and Russ had taken the cover from the RV and Jeff was preparing the van to go help his little Sister move tomorrow because he was worried about her. Now that means that Pam too has lovingly shared him for a day on our behalf. I got the mail and there werr cards from the Lioness who keep remembering his struggle and another from our GA friends Bud and Jan. I think we are having a great day! Oh and his breathing is better after the infusion. Thank you Jesus on this day when you sacrificed so much for us and You still had time to lighten our load once again
