Its been my honor to serve and Ill continue for a couple more years. None of what has been accomplished has been done by one person but by many of us working together: road repairs, revitalization of downtown, new bridge, neighborhood investments, leading state rail efforts, passing parks bond, gas tax, 2 road bonds, climate and energy plan, EWEB master plan, sustainability commission, climate ordinance, Envision Eugene, Federal Livability Grant, Scenario planning for green house gas reduction, Regional Prosperity Plan, 2 Regional Prosperity Summits, Regional Accelerator and Innovation Network to grow entrepreneurs, Arts and Business Alliance, largest covered skateboard park in the nation, 2 Olympic Track and Field Trials, Divestment, reorganizing the metro economic development efforts, triple bottom line tool, settling the bus strike, numerous affordable housing projects, opportunity village, rest stops, Housing First Initiative, protecting wetlands, purchase of headwaters, West Eugene Collaborative, merger of fire departments, independent police auditor and civilian review board, sick leave, national neighborhood awards and conference, social host ordinance, forming Area Transportation Commission, monthly Mayors 1 on 1 throughout city for 10 years, FB, KUGN show...
