Winds northwest to northeasterly 15 to 20 km/h. Fire Danger - Very High. MIN 17° MAX 36° Outlook for Monday... Hot. Sunny morning. A shower or two and the chance of a thunderstorm from the early afternoon. Light winds. MIN 20° MAX 37° WIDE BAY: Sunday... Hot and sunny. Light winds becoming north to northwesterly 15 to 20 km/h in the morning. Overnight temperatures falling to between 16 and 19 with daytime temperatures reaching the low to high 30s. Fire Danger - Very High. Outlook for Monday... Hot. Sunny morning. Isolated showers and the chance of thunderstorms from the early afternoon, mainly inland. Winds northerly 15 to 20 km/h tending northwesterly in the morning then becoming light in the middle of the day. Overnight temperatures falling to between 18 and 21 with daytime temperatures reaching the mid to high 30s. STATE FORECAST: Isolated showers and thunderstorms over the southern interior will possibly reach the southeast interior late. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected over the far north of the state, and more isolated over the northwest. Fine and mostly sunny conditions are expected elsewhere. Warm to hot temperatures through the south and west of the state in the gusty northerly wind flow ahead of the trough. Large and powerful surf conditions are still expected about the southern beaches south of Sandy Cape. Fire Danger - Severe in Maranoa and Warrego, and Darling Downs and Granite Belt. High to Very High in parts of the southern and central interior.
