Its like I said, and now this lawyer confirmed it. Even though - TopicsExpress

Its like I said, and now this lawyer confirmed it. Even though the BC First Nations won, the judge still rules, in fine print, that the government still owns native lands. Sure, they need to consult with First Nations first, but in the long run, if the government can find just cause to take the land, they can. Its that simple. Even with the recent ruling here in Ontario, even the provincial government has more control of our lands then we do, so they can bypass the Federal government if they choose, when they choose. Stupid Chiefs we have, dont seem to get it. Unite our nations, build a governing structure and stand up for our lands and resources. Let the communities decide who leads. I told them we had the evidence to stand up against the government in the International Courts. And its mounting even higher. That Canada is nothing but a corporation with no legal authority on our lands, or our nation. We didnt lose no war, nor did we surrender our sovereignty. Treaties that were done in fraud. Almost all Reserve elections were at the beginning, a fraud, committed by the government, so they could bring in Chiefs who had no skills, no leadership, no right to be Chiefs. Ninety percent of Chiefs even today, dont seem to get it, sell lands not theirs to sell, and dont seem to know how to unite a nation. No wonder were in such a mess. Look around. Most native youths dont even know where their future lies because of the discrimination they feel, hear, and see on a daily basis, and they see no hope. No jobs on the reserves, hateful eyes is all they see outside. Take a walk in the city of Toronto, or other cities in Canada and show me how many visible natives you see in professional offices, working for the city, banks, corporations. And yet the city is full of our nations looking for jobs, who couldnt find work on the reserve. Why, because we fail to have real leadership that can stand and make a difference. Ones that demand justice, and equal rights. Ask all those natives sitting behind bars right now, did they have anyone to turn to? No one, I can bet you from our nation at all. We know this land is ours. We know the injustices we receive from a racist government who still believes that only because they are white, they have ownership of our lands. We know we are a sovereign nation, but until we come together, none of that means shit because they will continue to steal our lands, steal our resources, steal our identities, and bully us around. Stop begging for scraps, start demanding what is our right. We are not immigrants on our own lands, so stand up for yourselves. We need to change. Government holds our Trust Fund like we were children, but one day, they will steal it for themselves and all native nations will be left out in the cold. Dont kid yourself and believe it wont happen because it will. Look around, see how they honoured their word so far since any treaties were born. See what happens when they want our lands and you are in their way. You, me, all First Nations across the land, own nothing. The land you stand on, that you call home is not yours. Never was. So they say. So what are you going to do about it? Nothing?
