Its my friend Garys 60th birthday today. I originally found Heffs music in Edinburgh in 1996, at the bottom of a second hand record bin. Bought the grim looking record out of curiosity, was blown away, and have carried it with me ever since. This is the song that closed the deal for me. Written on the day of Kurt Cobains death, its pure Heff: instinctive, instant, wounded, from the gut, romantic, hurtful, true. Im wearing my Penetrators T-shirt today. Happy birthday, Heff.
