Its no secret that I am a Republican, for a very long time now. Having said that, I have to say straight up that the Democrats are running much better ads in the major races in Illinois. The content is wrong, of course. But the quality of the ads, just from a horse race perspective, is so much better than the GOP ads. I am surprised that incumbent Dick Durbin is advertising so heavily, with very good ads. Does Oberweis even have competing ads up? I havent seen them if he does. Pat Quinns ads are also very good. I wouldnt vote for him in a million years after he raised taxes 67% in a single year. 67%. But, his ads are much better than Bruce Rauners. If ad buys make the difference in the election, this isnt even close. Just sayin
