Its not just America, its the world, money makes it spin apparently, and our populations decreasing health, and increasing obesity are just collateral damage. That being said, this video points out that sugar stimulates the same area of the brain as cocaine, that it is an addiction and therefore it is not really our fault, I dont entirely back that part, in my opinion, responsible parenting, making the decision to not feed your kids sweets, and high sugar foods on a regular basis would make an enormous impact, the government does need to step up and start putting our health above profits but lets be honest, thats never going to happen so its down to us, the population to change our own lifestyles and those of our children, we cannot keep pointing fingers at whoever is in office at the time and expect our lives to change.
