Its official....Schaub is a Raider now. I wish him and his family a happy future even after the disastrous year that was our undoing. Gonna climb on my soapbox for just one hot minute here though... I am thoroughly confused as to why Bob McNair allowed Rick Smith to sit on his proverbial free agent hands then decided to guarantee $7.5 million to Ryan Fitzpatrick whos stats were 2% lower than Schaubs were last year? What the...???! Why??? Why not instead go get Jason Campbell before Cincinnati was able to snagged him yesterday? Campbell is more agile and his QB rating was nearly 82% last year. And does this move mean they really might be considering drafting Bortles over Clowney? In all honesty, our offensive line sucked last year. I would rather see them draft Jake Matthews to have a JJ jr. on our offense. Someone with that grew up in the same manner Eli and Peyton did, with NFL in their blood and that JJ mentality. His dad is Bruce Matthews, his cousins are Casey (Philly) and some cheese head named Clay - probably a decent lineman...*laugh*. AND hes really the best A&M prospect this year (sorry little Johnny). They need help to protect whoever the QB will be this year. I digress. *Argh* ... The thought of two more years with what could be a ho hum QB at the helm while they are grooming another. Im feeling woozy. Think Im about to fall off the soapbox now.
