Its official i feel like I have been drafted lol I got my start date and my pay grade for the VA medical center after a 3 year bachelors degree in health administration a two year medical coding program and a two year graduate program in health care administration/informatics. I managed to land a great job a week after I finish my last class for my masters (never going back to school Im done lol). Only a select few know the struggles I have been through so I want to say thanks to my family Teena Thomas Toney Griffinwho kept telling me to be patient and kept supporting me. Thanks to my friends Brian Cashous Clay Thomas Jermaine Thomas who understood there were sacrifices I had to make and my time was limited. Thanks to my baby Elisha Sanders who stood by my side during some long days and nights essay, research papers, and all as well as, help me when I was at my worst because every hospital in the area including the VA constantly told me I wasnt good enough because I didnt have experience. 300 applications later and a year and a half of working part time at MCG every weekend just to get some experience Ive got a job better than what I was expecting this is not a boastful post this is to let my lil sis Aliyah Griffin nephews Tavion Griffin Tayron and Junior and my future kids kk Connor and Izzy as well as everyone trying to do better for themselves know that education is important get as much as u can. Stay determine only u can wake up everyday and do something positive to improve ur future i am no stronger or smarter than the next man or woman so it is possible for each an everyone of us to improve our situation through hard work and dedication
